We want to let everyone know about The So Cal Woodie Club host hotel for Doheny Wood 2025. The Best Western Plus Marina Shores Hotel.

We are excited to be at the same hotel as in years past. The host hotel within walking distance to all conveniences and Doheny State Beach.

From the hotel you can visit the Dana Point Waterman’s Plaza on PCH, as well as take the pedestrian overcrossing from the hotel’s side of the street. NOTE: Watermen’s Plaza honors five famous local surfing icons with very impressive bronze statues…a must see!

Starbucks and McDonald’s are directly across the street; a supermarket is also within walking distance, as is the Dana Point Lantern District, with its many eateries and shops.

Doheny Wood 2025 guests will receive a complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi.

The $10.00 parking charge has been waived for us, and the parking is covered. Yes, covered parking!

The So Cal Woodie Club negotiated a 15% price reduction off on the nightly rate.

The benefits listed above are among the reasons we made this move, but most importantly, the current and impending construction in the Marina itself was going to be problematic.
